Who We Are
The BIBLE-SCIENCE ASSOCIATION is a creation organization in Southern California which features guest speakers from scientists and experts in the fields of astronomy, biology, geology, genetics, and much more. Our lectures and films concentrate on how the evidence and research discovered in each of the scientific disciplines is consistent with the biblical account of creation and how it contradicts the ever-changing claims made by the evolutionary origins model. We feature both in-house guest speakers and exclusive live-streaming events with some of the most authoritative and respected creation scientists in their fields. The Bible-Science Association began in the late 1960s as a chapter of the national Bible-Science Association, which later changed hands and is now Creation Moments. Our local chapter has kept the name and has been in operation nonstop since 1969. Our services include: monthly meetings with guest lecturers, film showings, special events, Creation Safaris, a speaker’s bureau and resource tables featuring one of the best selections of books, audio and video resources in the southland. We usually meet on the 3rd Saturday of the month at The Master's University in Santa Clarita, except for June, July, August and December.
Statement of Faith
We believe in God: The Father, Christ the Son, and The Holy Spirit. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. All its assertions are historically and scientifically true in the original autographs. This means that the account of origins in Genesis is a factual presentation of actual historical truths.
We believe that the origin of matter and all basic types of living things, including man, came about through direct creative acts of God during the six-day creation week described in Genesis. Whatever biological changes have occurred since the creation week have accomplished only changes within created kinds.
We believe that the great flood described in Genesis, commonly referred to as the Noachian Flood, was an historic event, worldwide in its extent and effect.
We accept the account of the special creation of Adam and Eve as the first man and woman. Their subsequent fall into sin, by disobedience of God's direct command, is the basis for our belief in the necessity of a Savior for all mankind. We believe in Christ's death, burial and resurrection as payment for our sin. It is only by God's grace and trust in Him that we can be saved. Therefore, we believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, the Creator God Who became a man, and that personal acceptance of this fact is necessary for salvation.
